Attendance Thread - Fulham

As a result of this thread I’ve done a bit of digging and come up with an amazing stat.
Don’t know if it’s correct but apparently Liverpool only have around 6,000 season ticket holders with Liverpool post codes, Everton have 27,000!

At Liverpool the membership card => than a season ticket I seem to remember. There are certainly more members with greater loyalty points / chances of cup tickets etc than season ticket holders.

Certainly believe that. I had freebies at OT every tome we played there. In the block i sat there were feckers from everywhere bar Manchester.

Know a bloke at Nuneaton whos had a man utd season ticket x 2 years without going. Just for pocket money.

Bizzare that.

Remember working in wales n a labourer was off to man utd for s shite cup game as tickets were compulsary to st holders.

Fuck me it’s some thread this mind… 😂 But but but… we all live git far away compared to other clubs and we all use foodbanks and that 🤷🏻‍♂️ WTF man

Mags likely similar to us.

London clubs way more local support imo.

Man utd just sad tossers from every part of the country.
Man U and Liverpool used to get loads over on ferries from Ireland. Don't know if that's still the case.

I believe Fulham fans travel due to historic re-housing, not sure they use food banks though.

By all accounts they deliberately keep the season tickets down to about 27,000 as they make a lot of money from match day bookings especially from the tourists.

I quite like the geography of football support. Historic movement for employment and the closing of local pits sending miners as far away as the Northumberland pits, Notts, Derbyshire and even Kent. It's fascinating how many far flung people cling to the teams their family supported (not just Sunderland).

People asking for pay on the gate , you can queue up on the night and go to the ticket office .

Also has the lack of pay on the gate effected our gates in the league .

I don’t think any cash turnstiles would bring in enough to make it worth while
