Attendance Thread - Fulham

As a tangent one thing I don't understand is why the club don't roll out cheap ticket offers to schools south of Durham. In Darlo all my young nephews have had this sort of thing for Man U and Man City over the years. Bussed in and then bussed out for midweek games. European games IMSC, so even those teams have spare seats for midweek games. This is something the club should look into going forward IMO as in the whole scheme of things the Mags will have an oversubscribed ground, so they can't really do this. It's a good way to attract young fans.

They cant do extra cheap tickets or freebies for the FA Cup. Only if opponents agree

At the risk of going off topic for this thread that's clearly too low. The eventual 42K was just right. Murray stated he was in a rush to extend because the international swimming pool would later block it, but given we could easily have extended at the south stand it is not the best argument.

Agree with this, there's been rumours about him wanting to have a bigger stadium than Newcastle but not sure how true that is. No doubt 48K is fine if we're flying in the Premier League but I think Murray needed to judge our gates when things aren't going well before extending.

It's left us vulnerable to comments about empty seats even though averaging over 40K during our largely dispiriting 10 seasons in the PL was a miracle.

I've always thought we should do something like that.

Put on transport for people aswell as Sunderland is shit for transport links across the county.

I find it weird that every single post you have made since joining is about attendances, expanding the stadium and mentioning newcastle. You’ve not commented on any games, results or anything else to do with SAFC.

Has Skunk written all over it

Cash turnstiles is a tried and tested method going back decades. But hang on, we cant handle cash. It's pathetic really. I think for older generations this is vital and would probably get an extra 5k on the gate for Wednesday.

It has. He hasn’t disguised it very well. @Steedy M

Mods another one to terminate.
He might be but nothing wrong with that post imo, these threads are pointless anyway, who actually cares about attendances? They seem more of a stick to beat us with if anything and a bit obsessive.

Yes but we have been left vulnerable to comments mate. Imagine that. ☹️
