Attendance Thread - Fulham

No other team in all four leagues would lose around 50% of their support for a 4th round cup tie .
Hardly any other team in all four league’s would average over 30,000 four consecutive seasons in the 3rd tier with 25,000 season ticket holders.
Presently getting 10 thousand more than the second best supported team in the division and this with only 3 top 10 finishes in the last 65 years and being relegated 11 times.
No other team.

Why? His comment was fair, we’re all up for the back patting when we get a good attendance on Boxing Day or play off semi, why shouldn’t we be critical of a poor turnout like this/ West Brom? We have a good loyal following of 20k

our home cup attendances are poor but he's always making a jibe at our supporters to get a reaction. was exactly the same style on the covid board

Any suggestions? They have already started to give a loyalty point which is worth the same as an away trip to Plymouth.
Been thinking about this. The loyalty point is an incentive, but only really to those who would likely definitely be going to a match like this anyway.

For A family of 2 adults and 2 young kids, who have SC but never go to an away game, in reality a loyalty point is about as much use as an Ash tray on a motorbike!

Not really an explanation for cup attendances overall, but....just something I'd pondered over

A fair few will be on shift work and cant get off.
A fair few live quite a distance from the SOL and cant do the midweek journey.
A fair few wont be able to afford it, money, even at these prices, is tight.
A fair few will go to the pub and watch it.
A fair few will watch it at home.
People have situations forced on them, and some just make their choice.
No right or wrong.

Don’t be silly

My stepdaughter goes to a school in Sunderland and not once have they been offered any. Funny that.

He obviously enjoys the attention, being contrary because he knows it’ll get a reaction. Absolutely nobody could be as negative as him man, subtle digs at the fans all the time. Don’t think you’d get many of us who deny our cup crowds can be bafflingly poor at times, but he even tried to belittle the league crowds before which is just stupid with the crowds we consistently got at our 4 year lasting lowest ebb and now average touching 40k in the second tier. And then you get the mags pretending to be us on top doing the same. Strange place this board.

Exactly.

Been on sale 24 hrs.

General sale about 10 hours.

Loads of SC holders had problems yesterday.

It's a week away.

Some people will be waiting on travel or work changes. Its not like a league game where exiles can plan months or weeks in advance and/or locals who work can plan shifts. There's been less than a weeks notice.

The meltdown I've seen by some, especially on the likes of twitter today has been, to be Frank, f***ing pathetic. Childish!

Doesn’t surprise me one bit

as I posted earlier how would our ticket off would’ve coed with a 50k fans & 3 days notice

Shocking attendance . We will be the laughing stock all over social media .
Think the club clearly expected more foven our league attendances this season and opening up the full ground. Should of just done stand by stand I'd that's the case . Are we really the best supporters in the land we will lose a lot of friends when they see how poorly attended it is .

Doubt it, alot of clubs don't give a shite about cups. Are they the same lot that give us plaudits for averaging close to 40k in the league?? Nah it'll be the ones who got an agenda so who gives a shite what they think.
