Anthony Gordon

He's more than decent and will prove it in a better squad and manager/coaching setup.

Here’s another one. And this one thinks the Earth is flat, which gives his opinion added comedy.

He’s got more cards than he has goals and assists in the premier league. Good luck with that.

You’ll be telling me next you didn’t think he was an absolute prick before you signed him n’all.
Ok

He needs to improve his decision making I agree. Often runs himself into trouble instead of taking an easier option to pass. Will come with age

I’ve seen absolutely nothing from him to suggest he’s gonna be a big asset for the top clubs. Most of the Everton fans can’t wait to see the back of him, which is always a good sign.

His stats are woeful n’all. I really don’t see it at all.

Any word on his weekly wage out of interest?
Think of the lowest amount possible he could be on. Then think of the highest amount he could possibly be on. Calculate the average. Multiply by 3.14 and you have a qualified guess.

I love this narrative being peddled that under EH he will blossom as he has transformed Miggy and JoeL. My fav was also that working with Trippier will make him better!

Given how much they're usually crowing about a big signing, they seem to be very reserved on all platforms about this one.

We know they simply don't do cautious optimism, so it must be that they are covering up that they think he's not very good, and thought they'd be signing Mbappe and Haaland by now.

He plays as a left or right forward doesn't he , in a 3. But he's not as good as Saint Maximum or Almiron imho, so bit of a strange signing for that amount.

Think he's a decent player, but virtually going on strike at your home town club to get a move when they're struggling hardly sings of "top top player". Find it frightening how people who can afford to be moral choose not to for the sake of a few quid

This all day long…..can you imagine what we woukd be thinking if we were currently in a relegation battle and Dan Neil decided he was gonna down tools and move to Norwich ?

His gf or ex-gf works for a friend of mine. He thought he had knocked someone down which is why they were screaming at him the street. He was petrified and put in a transfer request in the next day.

Its a valid point, half the team that were bottom of the league a year ago are now sat 3rd and one game away from a cup final playing high intensity pressing football scoring plenty of goals whilst conceding hardly any, the likes of Schar, Longstaff, Almiron, Willock,Wilson and Joelinton were all part of that squad that was going down and are now regulars for the third best team in the country, shows what a good manager can do and its why many expect him to get something out of Gordon.

FFS man.

Signing Trippier and paying him c100k a week was the turning point. Then adding Dan Burn.

Wilson was already a class act but the team didn't play to his strengths.

Fair play to EH but it is bollox that he has some kind of midas touch.
