I’m assuming £40m is if they win the CL while he’s employed by them? Even if merely winning the PL with him it seems a tad excessive. Though I’ve only seen him on tv and he’s obviously surrounded by a shitshow so Mebbes he’s good? Time will tell.
 
BBC state mags have bought Everton "forward " with 7 goals in 70 games.
So around 4 games a season if he plays every game.
Is that what you get for £40m+?

It's £40 upfront and £5M in add ons. I think it's a big risk. He's looked both good and poor at times.
