I get why some people say on here say just don’t watch it but unlike itv I pay for this service. Is it to much to ask for some unbiased coverage?

The tv sports coverage is nothing more than the PR arm of the mags.

Given what their ownership did to a journalist you would think they would at least try and be professional. They are the tv version of the evening chronicle.

Aye. Being a season ticket holder I don’t listen on match day and not a big fan of listening to footy commentary but know there has been debate on FM DAB etc. i generally listen to total sport though Marco hasn’t done our fan base many favours lately - I can forgive a little for the goal.

From what I can see SAFC get a raw deal in the coverage. I go back to my earlier point that when we were on the premier league and the mags were in the championship the local bbc went a million miles out of their way to treat the two clubs the same irrespective of division. Boots on the other foot what happens?

The radio station, though not as bad in its bias as their TV station will never ever be taking seriously with its ridiculous name. It’s name sets the tone. Until that is changed or Sunderland gets its own radio station it will never be taken seriously even though it does have some staff that aren’t as magwashed as its tv counterpart.

The radio station doesn’t cover Middlesbrough in fairness, that’s Radio Tees.

Well there's been a VAR decision tonight that's gone against the mags so there'll be a meltdown on Look North tomorrow night
