Kebab House Chilli Sauce

Beat me to it.
When they say authentic I have never seen it in any kebab shop in Turkey. The nearest thing they have is ecile Ezme which is “ chilli salad “ which isn’t really saved with kebabs but more of a dip.
I have asked plenty of shops and no one knows.
My favourite kebab shop (Bridge End Pizza in Chester) is actually run by Iranians. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I picked up some Indus Peri Peri chili sauce the other day, tastes nice and is like molten lava at times. Would buy over nandos peri peri any day.

Is more like a chili sauce than a peri peri.

would buy it again.
Just opened a bottle of this myself today.
Definitely a chilli sauce rather than peri peri and best I've had out of a bottle, much better than the crucials stuff

Anyone get linghams chilli sauce? Belting gear but don’t live near a Tesco anymore and asdas dog shite.

More importantly why can’t you get kebab shop garlic sauce in supermarkets.

If someone sold a bottled version they would be millionaires

I found one but can't remember where .. it's in the fridge at home..

Was t expensive. About £1.20 a bottle

Crucial do the nearest to most . Home bargains
Wild card has said it..

It's Indus stuff

200g white cabbage (the more you add the thicker it’ll be)
Tin of tomatoes
fresh chillies (as many as you want depending upon how hot you want it)
salt and pepper
lots of lemon dressing (the bottled stuff you can get from ethnic food shops and I think I’ve seen it in Sainsbury’s

blend in a blender

chill in fridge and use liberally

you can play about with herbs and maybe mint sauce if you fancy but the above should give you the old fashioned kebab shop chilli sauce from a time before they all started buying the stuff in

Home bargains. B&M- some kebab shops will add yoghurt , garlic salt and lemon juice to it.

Ahmed’s at shields stocks it. Asda have stopped selling it I think.
Great stuff.. I like the garlic, chilli and ginger one.. used to get it from Waitrose
I think Sainsbury’s might sell it. There’s a small on in Seaham which I very much doubt will have it. There’s the big one in suddick so will try and remember when passing.

We dint have a Waitrose round here man epps 😆

Slightly off topic, but I recently bought a bottle of Kilimanjaro Waka Waka sauce. It’s supposed to be garlic and herb but it carries a lovely warmth to it. Tastes like nothing I’ve ever had before.

I make my own because when I get a chicken kebab the shop insists on giving me a tub of garlic sauce + tub of chilli - despite always asking for 2 X Chilli. Infuriating 😡

1 part Old El Paso salsa

1 part Heinz tomato ketchup

1 Part Siracha Chilli Sauce
