Trouble again

They got off at train station next to bridges , ran up Fawcett Street , got to bridge and met our lot. Fawacett Street was completely empty at the time with it being Sunday . They posted on the Internet as though they had took Sunderland .
I know, I was there.I wouldn't say they ran up fawcett street like. A gentle stroll would describe it better
I remember bother outside Windmills after the 0-0 game at RP. Think it was the day we "took the Fulwell".
Nah, this was years later.

No idea then. Once at SOL there is no need for anyone to be that side. The only time i haven't just hopped on Metro afterwards i was meeting one of your lot for a beer.
I wandered over the bridge to ISIS. Aside from a bit of 'hold me back' and coordinated bouncing around at St Peters it was all very sedate... as it should be.

They were running on video I saw , up an empty street.
We were at city tavern at the bottom , watching them come towards us at a snails pace. A mad sunderland fan(Castletown lad), ran at them by himself. Somehow got away with not getting a hiding n'all. They got to where we were and just stopped. It was weird as out. Dunno what video you watched. The chronicle probably filmed a re-enacment where they brayed us.

The running was as they entered fawcett street, looked like a lot of them didn't have a clue what they were doing , bravado as the street was empty. Watched one of them get brayed with a crutch over the head on bridge.

Was that Jackie?

Vauxie boys were sound, but used to let the mags take the p#ss at roker. Seaburn didn't.
Ironic as the vauxies used to take the piss elsewhere.

Mad that.

I was walking behind their escort from seaburn station in 85.

Dunno who they were but about 4 or 500 lads burst round by the blue bell and demolished them. The whole escort panicked.

Iirc they were on their way back from Boro. At least 5 of them would have given Usain Bolt a run for his money as they shot up the station and legged it up the lines towards East Boldon

Absolutely mate. I was there on both occasions
According to some owld N.M.E they battered us that day!!!

Well, I spoke to the lad who wrote the chapter in the Brimson's "Derby Days" book about it where it was claimed they did. He admitted he wasn't even there - had gotten the train straight back from Boro. His reply "well, at least it made it to print" or words to that effect.
Was a canny lad, actually.

I was only a bairn then mate. I was drinking there the later couple of times. The lad of yours who looked like John Lennon stuck me on me arse (wasn't giving peace a chance that day, I can tell yer) and CS gassed me (well one of them did, whilst I was having a lie down)
I was in the Bell on the second occasion. I can remember the bar emptying and everyone piling into the car park

As was I mate. Pool cues, balls the lot were taken out. I tried to hoy a shopping trolley - could barely lift the bugger and it ended up rolling about 3 feet - Some boy!
They came to the doors, rattled them a bit but didn't come in, if you can remember?

Lads I know are well known N.M.E , argue as much you want with them and they convinced they kicked fuck out of us. They seriously think they were invincible.

They clipped some lad and his bird as they were going back to Seaburn Station. That's about as much as I can remember.
I was fairly drunk mind so its a bit of a blur, that particular evening.
