I've read it all before a right hero in your own mind. Yes you came down in your thousands in the 70's there was a lot of bother, you did not have it all your own way despite what you say. when your allocations were cut in the 80's you could not hack it. On the other hand we went all over the country mixed it with the best build up a far better reputation than you with much smaller numbers. so wind yer neck in. Anyone can cause havoc with 7 or 8 thousand tow try doing it with 7 or 8 hundred, no thought not.

Redcar Hospital is only a stones throw away from South Gare. Then taking into consideration the fact that it's only a couple of miles from the North Gare to the South Gare by canoe (a commonly known fact in your parts) ... then once you have paid the initial outlay for your wet suit and canoe, you can save the £20 / £25 taxi fare hand over fist every time you need to get to the hospital there. Just a thought.
