Euro 2028 SOL bid

If we extended I think the occasional game we could get 63k.

Other than that probably
Not.

I’ve stood in roker with 13000.

My dad did with nearly 60k.

We are too up and down.

Our stadium is 25 years old (actually maybe 26) it’s not new anymore unfortunately. The new stadiums are far more advanced. It would have been used if we won the bid in 2006. On another note if we do extend the south stand I don’t think we should add an extra tier just extend back and make it like the massive stand at the Westfalenstadion

Have you ever been to Hertha Berlin. I imagine it's be like that whe we play there, completely soulless due to the amount of empty seats.
I’ve been to Hertha Berlin…just once but the atmosphere was superb. It was f***ing freezing mind.

There aren’t that many new stadiums with a decent capacity tho, the majority are much older than ours. Unless I’m having a massive brain fart, there is only Man City in the North and I can’t think of any in the midlands.

England will only get 6 stadiums. We have no chance.
Old Trafford, Wembley, Emirates, Tottenham Stadium for certain. Then it depends on how ambitious clubs and councils want to be. Sunderland are the only other club that could relatively cheaply offer a 60k+ ground, and are in a good location - ie outside of NW and London. However, without some lateral thinking Liverpool, Newcastle, Villa, West Ham & Everton (new ground) all currently have better chances.

London could almost host on their own - Wembley, Emirates, Tottenham Stadium, Chelsea, West Ham & Twickenham. London has a much bigger population than Qatar, and if you count the areas with 5 miles of the M25 then it’s geographically bigger too 🤣🤣🤣

If they extended it all the way around I wonder if they could replace the existing upper tier roof and dome it instead
