It's a racial stereotype. If Man U sang that to Park, it's still stupid, isn't it? And we're not Man U whenever that was being sung, as rank as that is. Amad is here ON LOAN to us. He's already had to come out and ask supporters not to sing this at him. Rightfully so.

It’s racist. Always has been, always will be. There is no debate here as far as I can see.

It reduces black men to being a walking appendage and nothing much more than that.

An age-old trope (propagated by white men) that presents black men as more virile, promiscuous and deviant than white people. A danger, as such, to white women. Which is undeniably racist.

And I while I very much doubt that the brains trust in the South Stand would know this, they should know by now. So they should stop.
