Durham New Signing

Well good luck to him. I hope be is moving to the North east full time and not one of these locum summer coaches.
I suppose now its all about if there are any signings to be made and who we can afford. Certainly don't need any young unproven players.

Wish him the best but it’s no mark cheap appointment. Sad to say the only thing the club seems interested in is doing everything for as little money as possible.

We are very much in danger of been permanently anchored to the foot of division 2. The quality of the squad diminishes every year and has done since the ECB did the dirty on us.

Good luck to him but the rather typically underwhelming appointment I fully expected.

Could be worse I suppose i- It may have been North's other mate Maddinson as player-coach.:D

Just seeing a few tweets from journos at the nationals who are all saying good appointment mind, who knows.

Definately, he's got a tough job on his hands as I'm not sure what Bostock implies when he says we need to build on James Franklin's work............. I'd sooner see it all dismantled and start again to be honest
If Franklin was to build a chair the leg would fall off.

I know nothing of this guy but good luck to him, I hope (I expect) he's done his research and has a plan!

Having a plan would be an improvement given Franklin pissed off mid-season twice. Really hope we see a committed head coach who is approachable with members, no getting away from the fact this is a very tough job, I don't expect miracles next year, but I do expect to see a vision and commitment.

As i said earlier on this thread here for 12 months of the year. That would be a good start.
