Sunderland AFC 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 v Al-Shabab 🇸🇦 Kick Off 1pm SAFC LIVE

A number of heavy and overly physical challenges from Al-Shabab which caused tempers to boil over. Red cards were shown to Lynden Gooch and an member of the Saudi squad but after a brief pause in the game, the officials decided to let the game continue after consultation with sets of coaching staff.

Sounds like we were lucky to come away unscathed from this utterly pointless fixture. Suppose it’s minutes in the legs if nothing else. Shambles nevertheless.

Sounds like an utter shambles of a game.

Those who organised the game and pushed for it will be left utterly red faced.

Shouldn't have been playing them but still nice to beat them. Especially now that the mags adore them, their saudi counterparts can't beat Sunderland  Similar to themselves so I can see why they get on with each other to be fair.

He cost Man U around £35m (if instalments etc are reached) so initial fee would have been around £20m you’d think.

Zero chance of a permanent deal, possible loan though but could see a promoted championship side wanting him on loan next season.

See what you did there.
