Saudi Arabia wants its investors to own Manchester United and Liverpool

The FA, and the government gave them the green light, they'll do what they want because, as we've seen, money is more important than the integrity of the game. English football is quickly disappearing up its own rancid hoop.

Correct. I have no idea why anyone gives a fuck about the Premier League. It's just driven by money. It's nothing to do with football unfortunately

Let’s be honest. They bought the mags because their supporter base are that daft and would overlook anything to have a successful football team. They were the the perfect sportswashing club in all aspects.

However, Somethings are bigger than football
and had they bought sunderland, i doubt, it would even be metioned on this forum, we would all be looking forward to our days in the champions league, and winning everything.

It's quite literally the league where the majority of the world's most talented players play football.

The morals and ethics of it are rancid, but the quality of the football is undeniable in my opinion

Anybody ???

Would you like your club to get promoted there ??

Honestly.....???? My last season of watching football was Ardiles at Newcastle. I've been to 2 Newcastle and 4 Sunderland games since. I genuinely don't have a club. I lost interest when money became the driving factor.

I follow all North East teams results and updates so I can speak to my mates. I'd honestly be as happy for Sunderland to win a major trophy as I would Newcastle. I appreciate I'm odd.

Aye it would probably never be mentioned. Look at the mega long threads of a car insurance salesman and Yuppie Goldberg taking us over, and the hassle that has caused on this forum, but aye, a Saudi Death squad, killer group wouldn't bat an eyelid. We'd probably still be taking about Ryan Noble

All this makes you wonder WTF is happening to our game ? .

People used to get hijacked for money . But now its money hijacking the people.

Two nations that will never be hot beds of soccer the USA and middle east are to blame

If they bought either club it would be just as bad as them buying Newcastle.

Let's be honest, that's not why they bought them.
