Saw him live for Inter this season and he was the best player on the pitch. His movement was superb and he terrorised the defence. Can’t seem to handle the high line though!!

They aren’t as high as Iran in the rankings, are they? The Argies haven’t even been able to beat a high line like that in open play so far either

Last group games are going to be interesting.

They normally try to even up any first half stoppage time in one game by extending the half-time break in the other game.

Half time could last half an hour and there could still be a sizeable discrepancy in the time the two games finish.

Nowhere near, Iran are in the top twenty.

Argentina are making very hard work of this.

In rugby, even if there's a lineout, the match clock keeps going, so things like throw ins could be exempt.
If a goalkeepers taking the piss the ref can just say time off.
If everyone could see the official match time, it would also not be open to accusations of match fixing.

Undoubtedly.

But VAR still has human error at its core so why not trust the official.

There will never be a ‘perfect’ system.

Sadly it’s going nowhere.
 
The only thing I respect about that shit country is the fact they keep stepping up despite them being absolutely dog shit at footy
