No we didn't. I went to school in Sunderland and no fucker supported them.

They sell out every game, unless they build a new stadium and save tickets for general sale, people won't be able to attend their games as they simply won't be able to get a ticket.

If anyone seriously picks them above us and has an affinity to us, they were never a proper fan anyhow. You might get gimps that say they support them but only watch on the telly, but what difference does that make?

The difference is they are more arsed about watching them on TV then paying to support a club like us.

No one is suggesting that lifelong Sunderland fans will jump ship , but young impressionable children from the likes of Durham and Washington etc , certainly will end up Mags if they have a period of sustained success.

People can make as many excuses as they want, but they've had an excellent start to the season and more concerning for me as an SAFC supporter is that on paper their starting 11 doesn't even look that good and has plenty of room for further improvement, which makes it even more impressive.

Howe is doing a really good job thus far and defensively they look solid, which is always one of the biggest critiques against him.

They look to have a great team spirit too and the fans and club seem united which has also been lacking over the last decade.

If they keep adding a top player or two like Guimares every window, it would be more than enough to keep them pushing on.

Unfortunately we have to concede that our biggest fears when the takeover eventually went through, seems to be a matter of when and not if.

Bastards.
It’s happening and it’s getting better every week

My Daughter follows NUFC, every time I see her I'm like, hello you filthy skunk

They now have the cash to buy their trophies, the following years are going to hurt....get used to it.
