Are we destined just to be a yoyo club

Some of the noises coming out the club this week and even Mowbray himself seems to suggest we just gonna be a club that has its limits . Think the premier league days are a thing of the past unless we get some investment .
Saddens me how we have become

I’d be chuffed if we were a yoyo club again
I'm talking about championship and league one m8
Don’t lie, you’d love it.
Why would I love it like ? The past few years have been the lowlife of my 40 years of going pal . Never seen it or felt so bad that's why I'm clinging onto the hope we might be back one day
Our first season back in the Championship and there's threads like this FFS.

Post it again if we get relegated otherwise FOJ
It's just the way things seems at the club . It's soeakmans way or none even dull Tony looks deflated now man

There are very few seasons since I started being addicted to SAFC in 1962, that we haven't been in either a promotion, or relegation battle. It must be really boring being a constant mid table team. I wouldn't change anything, even the last few seasons in League 1, it was frustrating, but we were there, or thereabouts, and won a couple of tin pots. It's a cliffhanger most seasons with SAFC.

I’ve seen a few of your posts commenting on that we’ve had no investment, just out of curiosity how much money should we have spent in the summer window for you to class us as being “well invested”?

If we don’t get things right in January we could become a yo-yo club between the championship and League 1

Why cos I'm concerned we are going to be a yoyo club between Champ and lge 1 .
Do I not have a right to be concerned like .
What will it take for yous to question the board or model .
What will it take for you too think Mowbray is not the man
I'm curios

We have always had our limits since the formation of the PL. The £100 million plus Ellis Short pumped into the club kept us afloat. Although our attendances were excellent, match day revenue was miniscule as our supporter base is not wealthy. Sponsorship deals were poor. We were forced to pay over the odds to attract players. We made financial losses every season. If anything the situation is worse now. Hardly any TV money with huge overheads ; Academy must be around £5m a year. We have a model of self sustainability ; bringing young players on who we might add value to. This success of this is wholly down to getting the right people in charge. But then just about every club in the country can say that. We are no longer a big club. In reality, we are a yo yo club. Only a handful of clubs in the country can claim not to be.

The owners’ aim is for us to be a top 10 club, the problem is that it may take longer than we want and if we finally get there then the aim may be for us to be a top 12 club or something like that. However, neither of those though imply yoyo.
