Would Ball have got an England cap


If he had been playing for one of the top sides he would have been a better player than he was, so maybe

If you mean would Kevin Ball, as the player he was, get a cap were he magically in the squad of a top club? No
 
Maybe would have got 1 or in meaningless friendlies but can't imagine anything more. He wasn't the best technical footballer about, was he? Saying that I do think he was underrated elsewhere in the country. Probably a case of right club, right role, right time.
