South Stand Muppets

Paper has been thrown after nearly every display we’ve had. As it does at any ground and has been happening for years. It happened before the Sheffield Wednesday play off game also.

It has nothing to do with not respecting Remembrance Day or the meaning behind it. I sit in the south stand because it’s a better atmosphere than anywhere else in the ground and I can confirm not everyone who sits there are “muppets”. The lads and lasses around me are great, always getting behind the lads and good crack to chat to.
There’s a video of things being thrown from the north stand, so are they all muppets to who sit there?

The south stand gets constant criticism because of a few idiots who boo the knee / a few kids who group together, but it’s largely full of people who want to make a better atmosphere in the ground, that everyone else constantly criticises yet isn’t prepared to do anything about.

We’ve got bigger things to worry about and it’s poor from the OP to label everyone in the south stand as a muppet because she’s got a bit upset over some paper being thrown about. People can’t do anything these days without someone having a pop.

Followed this up earlier this morning on BBC Radio Newcastle to discuss it. Some absolute idiots are getting into the stadium now looking to cause nothing but grief for those who are there to try and enjoy the game.

I haven’t got much trust in the stewarding either. Most look like they can’t be arsed to be there to begin with.

In fairness, you couldn’t pay me to sit anywhere else. You get moaned at by people for making any noise and god forbid you stand up when something exciting is happening.

It’s not full of whoppers. There’s a fair few but there’s far more decent, genuine fans in there.
