Kicking right off

I live in Hylton Castle and was outside yesterday afternoon watching the firemen put out the bonfire on Cheltenham Rd field (they lit it early cos the police turned up but some idiots had thrown aerosols in so the fire service were called).
While they were putting it out a young kid was riding his motorbike backwards and forwards on the field right in front of the police acting like an absolute bellend. Went on for at least half an hour. There were loads of kids round the bonfire which he could have easily hit and the police didn’t do a thing, didn’t even speak to him.
Wondered why it was put out.
I’ll say it again, what is happening now is a direct result of teams coming up here and taking the piss. It’s been obvious for ages that eventually our young lads will start to get involved and cause bother back.

Reading the Cardiff forum, it seems that yesterday was blown out of proportion but sadly the younguns will not disappear overnight.

If the police can get a grip of the away fans taking the piss, then these idiots will also stop.
They certainly didn't get chased away from what i saw. Nobody was comong off the Cardiff bus. Younguns were trying to kick the front bus window in. Then some of them went round other side of coach to try n get at them.

I didn't have a kid with me but other people did. Here's a thought...why should they have to walk another way when the police should be there protecting them?
There’s a lot less police than there used to be.
I walk down there with my Dad. I’ve also walked down there with my son. Why should I walk a different way cause some little scrotes are intent on causing bother?
Well, you shouldn’t of course. However, while this situation exists, it’s probably prudent to walk other side of Hilton.

Perhaps. Where are you ?

I am not denying the economic background is playing a role but lack of respect for authority pre-dates the current government.
Agree, I was born in the 70's, grew up in the 80's with f*ck all but had respect for people and knew right from wrong which was instilled by my parents.

Nowadays too many excuses, no parental guidance, no respect, no accountability and no deterrent for some of the feral youth of today and it's only getting worse.

Haven't been to a game for a couple of years now but it sounds as though there's been a massive influx of knackers amongst our matchday support since COVID if the weekly threads on here are owt to go by.

Is it really that bad now?

Meanwhile here outside the UK the kids had a much longer lockdown and nothing like this happens at all.

Maybe try 12 years of Tories dragging the country further and further down to where it was in the 70's and 80's...

I think your both right. Just think of it as layering one thing on top of another

This has been going on for weeks, it’s a running thread on here, neither the club or the plod do nowt about it.
A duo of incompetent arses
Exactly, it was more of a problem with midweek matches and the dark. Now that the clocks have changed it’s pitch black after every game.

Putting the 5 a side floodlights on for half an hour and having a couple of coppers in the vicinity would make a big difference

It’s no different at all to what it’s always been like.

Just massively blown out of proportion on here

So it turns out some kids were worky tickets and snapped a wiper on a bus. Then were chased off.

Sounds pretty standard behaviour from kids all around the country to be fair. Would think they burned the coaches out and went in a stabbing frenzy reading this thread at the start

Aye; it's the vaccine causing it. Bill Gates makes you more violent and if you don't get a vaccine, then vape juice does the same. Zombie nation I'm telling you...

P.S. remember when football was all that mattered about following your club? Miss those days

I seen some bother after the Burnley game, driving past the wheatsheaf. Some Burnley fan was knocked out in the middle of the road and loads of our little spenks scurrying off

It wasn't as cut and dry as that. You weren't in amongst it. There were kids there aswel.
