South Stand Muppets

Honeslty just sick today , crap performance, crap atmosphere and stuck in season ticket seats that the club stuck us in without asking surrounded by scumbags and idiots with me 2 and 4 year old
I got ours moved from there into North East corner for that reason mate

That’s also been a problem all over the ground for years.

Aye, not just the cards either. People wouldn’t go and watch their kids under 11s match and leave their pop bottles, bovril cups & chip trays at the side so I dunno why they do it at the football.

People can slag the south stand, complain about the paper etc, but I bet every one of them has left a cup or bottle in the stands at one point because they thought no one would know.

Since we returned from Covid, the lows of behaviour in a small number of people has got worse, but equally the high horses some sit on have got taller.

I never did that. It's the ones throwing things on the pitch and at players that I'm referring to.
You created a thread called “south stand muppets”. From which, the comments regarding fans in the south stand are very poor and criticising it as a whole. You could’ve easily created a thread about the people throwing paper but you’ve specifically singled out on area of our support. When there’s literal video evidence of another area of the ground doing it.

Your point about throwing stuff onto the pitch is correct and shouldn’t be done, no matter where you are in the ground. Aside from that, it’s a lot of whinging over very little. The person with the laser pen was ejected as they would be in any other ground in the country. I don’t believe for a second anyone hoying a bit of paper about was meant to be disrespectful towards remembrance day, the same way it happened in previous games when it wasn’t a remembrance display.

They were throwing coins aswel man, given the amount of publicity lately about away fans doing it they are doing it now. So it IS as bad as it sounds.
Throwing coins at who? I was in the south stand and didn’t see one coin thrown. Plenty of paper like I got hit twice.

Apologies for my poor use of English and I would like to reiterate that I was only calling the people throwing things muppets.

I wasn't aware the north stand were also throwing things as I sit in the south.

I could see from the north stand of their players having loads thrown at him. Had been subbed off and went off the other side of the pitch so had to walk all along the south stand to the get round to the dug out. Got peppered then just after he passed the goal he turned and put his arm up in the air. Might have been flicking the vs which of course saw an increase in the amount thrown at him as he made his way and past the SWC.
He didn't...he just put his thumb up. To be fair he was pretty cool the way he walked round and didn't react.

Aye guessed at the v's as I couldn't make out what he was doing with his hand. Just saw him turn and put his hand up then loads more paper balls come down on him.

Of course the cowards that chuck stuff onto the pitch won’t come on here and explain their actions. The behaviour of some in the south stand has been a problem for a while now.

Becs you can add that racist Amad chant to your list an all.
Totally agree with this. The amount of people that join in with that chant is a total embarrassment. A real shame as it could be turned into a decent chant for the lad which everyone could join in with.

It's like the obvious knee booers on here, never admit to it, say things like 'I don't boo it personally, but....'

Im south stand and to be honest I never noticed any getting thrown off our own players or anything like that, they were being thrown like but not aimed at anyone from what I saw. Can’t speak for half time because I wasn’t at my seat. Pretty sure any display at any ground they would be thrown like.

It was a class display as well so would be a shame for this to detract from it.
