Front row, bone dry. Wind was blowing it past us.we were about 3 rows off the back near the scoreboard and the rain was blowing back there. those at the front must've been drenched.

I m going for check up but they can have a medal as well.To go to Huddersfield on a wet Wednesday night to stand outside and chant cos you dont have a ticket. Absolutely mind-boggling. They deserve a medal or a psychiatric check up
Brilliant support as always but I actually thought it felt a bit subdued tonight. Maybe it was the weather.
The turning point seemed to be Pritchard falling over himself, their fans turning on him a little and ours responding. Great after that and very loud.
And they wonder why some fans get annoyed, typical police twattery!Twats at West Yorkshire police sent the buses south through Wakefield and onto the M1, even the distant branches who weren't going north, added at least an hour to the journey home.
Fortunately my sat nav sent me back towards the stadium on Leeds Road, along a few side streets and I was on the M62 in about 10 minutes.
Back home in Sunderland at 00:10![]()
Gave me a bastid heed ache, the twatYeah I thought it was a bit subdued in the first half , mainly down to that stupid drum. Same happened a boro
01.53 in newcastleWhat time did you get back
Admirable, yes very admirable!I was working in the office today at Doxy and left there at 4:45pm, got parked at 7:25pm and got into the ground at 7:40pm. Left at full time, walked back to the car and got home at 12:30am. Did not have time for a pint or any food, had a sandwich and packet of crisps in the car though. Having a bit chill now as working from home tomorrow and don't start till 9am. Struggle to go straight to bed after a long drive. Weather was poor as well especially on the way down and had to take a detour to avoid a jam on the M62.
Had to go though as that was my 79th of the current 92 grounds with Sunderland. I had seen Huddersfield v Sheff Wed there previously but I have a rule now that I will not miss an away game with Sunderland if I have not seen us play there before.
Christ is that diversion still on.We were still stuck in the car at that traffic light, about 1.5 miles from the ground, an hour after the final whistle. Then the A19 was closed at Wolviston and it was diverted through Hartlepool FFS.
I got back in the house at 12.50 am. Worth it though, for the 3 points!![]()
Not in the same league asWe are Sunderland! Say we are Sunderland!
The best, as always!
BehaveNot in the same league as
“ wear wear wear side “
Only song ( plus wise men say ) gets hairs standing up
Love” Wearside “over Mackem ( which has become an insult) I’ve always considered us Mackem and Geordie’s combined
I’m old though -but let’s not alienate a big percentage of our support -that’s What the Mags are aiming for by using Mackem as an insult
I know a couple Mags (penshaw ad Seaham ) who I call Mackems -they hate it -even though they were born in our City many tears (?for them ) years ago .:
