Special mention to our fans

we were about 3 rows off the back near the scoreboard and the rain was blowing back there. those at the front must've been drenched.
We were row E and barely felt a drop. Was only the first couple of rows that got soaked. Think we were lucky the way the wind was blowing.

In fairness, the traffic along Leeds Road to get back on to the M62 was bad.
Fortunately my sat nav sent me back towards the stadium on Leeds Road, along a few side streets and I was on the M62 in about 10 minutes.

Back home in Sunderland at 00:10 😎

nightmare after the game like. we were back at the car sharp, gps said 2 hours to home. 1h 15m later we were still in huddersfield trying to get up London Road.

alls well that ends well, just been shattered today

Mine did the same. Kept coming across coned-off side streets but once they were navigated we were away. Beat you by 10 mins narl. ;)
Aye Waze sat nav was doing exactly the same for me, worked out a treat, back to SR8 just before midnight.
Definitely a bit flat support I'm first half but as soon as Simms came on support definitely went up a notch. Shite weather but class night and the kids loved it.

Our beanch bus got back at 1am in Ashington.
