Away Fans at SOL Update

Someone in SAFC must have been smoking something else if they think this is a viable plan.

Let me summarise... We going to try and search potentially thousands of pissed-up away fans so well that we'll find all their spare change; we'll then ask said pissed-up fans to give up their money and, at the same time, put their vapes in the bin.

...and whoever is in charge at SAFC who has come up with this, seems to think that's not going to cause massive issues. I can imagine seats being thrown down instead, now we got very angry away fans.

And when someone chucks a flare that gets caught in the netting. What happens then? Fire and melted net dripping onto fans. A net won't work.

How would a flare gey caught if the holes are tiny & how would it melt when it's fire/heat retardant?

Seems to have popped up from nowhere, I don’t remember much trouble from the later PL seasons or the relegation season in the Championship from away fans. Seemed to start with Portsmouth in our first L1 season and got worse from there with more and more visiting fans acting up.

I do think the big day out mentality had a part to play in L1, but it’s even clubs like Burnley now who I’ve never seen bother with in the past

Only answer in the end will be heavy restrictions on away ticket allocations
last time Leicester were here in prem was a wee bit spicy like, the glass of piss was bang on target kinda unlucky for 6 of us who didn't really want a shower

Would you be happy being underneath a flare that burns at 3,000F, hoping the netting can cope (btw most flame retardent netting melts at about 350F) ?
Away Fans in the SEC
Family Zone in the NEC
TV cameras moved to the east stand/pointing at the West/PC.

All for the start of next season I reckon.
TV cameras moved to the east stand/pointing at the West/PC. DIRECTLY IN TO THE SUN???
Glad I live where I am then marra. :D

Someone throws a flare and it lands on the netting. Everyone looks up "Fk a flare, I'd better move"
or
Someone throws a flare, it lands on my head, ignites my hair/clothes etc. and I end up with a lot of burns. ..
Hard call......

Said the away fans were getting moved and they have basically just confirmed it with that statement about relocating the family zone. The family zone will be getting moved to one of the north corners and away fans will be in the south east corner.
How many does the SE hold and how many do we have to set aside for away fans ?

Would make sense to have the family zone in the north west, right next to the club shop for parents to be dragged into before or after the match

as a North stand ST holder currently sm underneath, that's why I want a net.

Why would the away fans be underneath?
Net goes at the front, fans don't sit in first few rows.

And any risk, then it's their own fans doing it to themselves rather than attacking out fans.

I take it you don't sit in the danger zone then?

If they go in SEC, they will have to walk halfway around the ground before and after the game from/ to their busses. Seems to be potential for trouble.
Get the buses back behind Sheepfolds and that..........but as I'm typing this I remember there's bars and stuff on the way along that end.

Ideally they shift the entire south stand and make the North Stand the home end it was meant to be.

I can’t believe we choose to kick that way 2nd half and still head over there when we come out. The only noise from that end Is the away fans. Very strange
