Away Fans at SOL Update

How can you ban someone from bringing coins into a football stadium....especially after travelling 100 miles plus to get there and on what grounds, genuinely interested?
Mad isn't it 🤔, some of the things that they want you to put up with nowadays, just to watch a football match, you can see why loads can't be bothered with going anymore.
In what way is banning coins enforceable?
Especially only the away fans.

What happens when our idiots throw coins because all clubs have idiots, are the away fans allowed to throw them back.

Can't please some folk.
Wankers have been chucking coins, so the club bans away fans bringing in coins.
Perfectly straightforward given that everything is pay by card or smart app.

Apparently that's an "embarrassment" and "mad".
FFS, some of you are never satisfied.

Without doubt the silliest solution.
Who on earth came up with it? We really are clueless at times.

The club are just buying time mate. The away section is being moved but small actions like this will be used to appease the safety committee until they can get something finalised.

As they will want everything done by Feb to prepare for SC renewals in March, I suspect they will use the World Cup break to start the big move. The first up will be those that got shifted from the PC and they will be offered their seats back; then they will start to move the impacted blocks in the East stand, SE corner and the South Stand.

I really hope they have the resources though as it’s a huge job ahead of them

There's a 0% chance there are no coins or vapes in the away end on Saturday.

You can collect a few boob off the ground since it’s easy come easy go for our away support pity the ban…lol

I agree, however if they have made it clear that there's no vapes or coins allowed, away fans would be wise to squirrel them away and certainly not get them out in the stand unless they wish to be turfed out.
This is all because some fans cannot be trusted not to be bellends.

The world isn't cashless though. The train isn't, the pub, the offy, the chippy, or every other place an away fan might go.

And vapes. Something that a vaper will have in their pocket all day everyday. So they're just going to throw it away to get into the stadium?

This is stupid.

True enough.
It might seem somewhat overzealous but like I say, if they keep them in their pockets or somewhere on their person and don't get them out or lob them, then everyone's happy.
All this has stemmed from a minority ruining it for their own fans, and home fans below.
The fact the club has had to do something like this, possibly for the first time, is a poor show on the away fans that have caused this issue.

But we're not talking about that, we're talking about confiscating money in order to get into the ground.

FFS, this is insane.
