T20 Ireland v England start time

We only needed 7.5 p/o when he came in 3rd ball so a run a ball while wickets are tumbling just to get a base score on the board is not a terrible thing
Yeah. He was very scrappy today which is unlike him but normally in that situation Malan goes run a ball and someone else goes harder. Brook couldn’t get anything away either which killed us.

Livingstone's bowling and Modern's mini innings aside England were woeful and got what they deserved.
On a different note it was surprising no overs were taken from the game after the initial 19 minute delay which left only 11 minutes margin before the next match.
Which in turn puts a question mark against double headers in a World Cup.
Deserved to lose though.

It's been a poor World Cup. Wrong time of the year, crap crowds in vast stadiums, double-headers in the same ground to squeeze them in.

I think they would like the over they went off had just turned the game in our favour, most T20 games when a team needs 53 of 33 you fancy the batting team from that situation
Ali seems to have taken a different approach lately, resisting the temptation to bash the ball from the off. He may have endured but, in my mind, I see Livingstone skying it and general disaster from there.
But we’ll never know and we remain deserved losers.
