It massively reduces the chances of someone being seriously hurt thoughCorrect, but both are dangerous and could kill someone which was the point I was making. Moving away fans doesn’t stop someone chucking a missile.

A git big net and screen would massively reduce the chance of someone being hurt.It massively reduces the chances of someone being seriously hurt though
A net I agree, a screen? The upkeep would likely be too expensive for the owners. It would need constant cleaningA git big net and screen would massively reduce the chance of someone being hurt.
Not moving the potential problem to elsewhere.
Fuck em wouldn’t need one if people could behave.A net I agree, a screen? The upkeep would likley be too expensive for the owners. It would need constant cleaning
You will therefore be relieved to hear the news that I am not employed by Sunderland Football club or Northumbria Police or even by any other agencies, bodies, suppliers that may be responsible for effecting this change or handling any implications arising out of it.Not really relevant what height an object comes from if it hits someone in the head. Thrown from the side or down below it could kill someone if it hit the wrong spot.
It’s sensible until you actually think of the logistics involved. Doesn’t seem like your capable of it.
It reduces the risk of serious injury. That can't really be argued.Correct, but both are dangerous and could kill someone which was the point I was making. Moving away fans doesn’t stop someone chucking a missile.

Put them where the stadium was designed for them to be.
My cousins came up for the Preston game and we were talking about away fans they said and I quote "why do you give the away fans one of the best views in the stadium??"
It's shit in the concourse like, I'd sit anywhere before up there. Keep them where they are out the way with a net.Put them where the stadium was designed for them to be.

It didn't fail at all. It was Ellis Short wanted away fans moved soon as he seen where our fans were situated at their place. Simple as that.

Best part of the stadium for me. Was there from it opening til we were all turfed-outIt's shit in the concourse like, I'd sit anywhere before up there. Keep them where they are out the way with a net.

NET SPEND ALERT!They don't need moving, it needs a net up. People have mentioned £15k-£16k to sort it and I'll bet we have at least one player on more than that a week. The club need to stop being ridiculous and sort it to protect our own fans.
There are nets all over Europe, they work.
