they are looking very tired and in need of a refurb. Cant see that happening until we have established ourselves in the Premiere league. Who knows when that will be.
Hoy a net up. If stuff still gets chucked then massively reduce that clubs allocation to the point where it’s impossible to chuck anything far enough to cause harm. If the club with the reduced allocation have a problem they can take it up with the cowards throwing stuff.
Quite why I or any other Sunderland fan should be moved to accommodate away fans acting up is beyond me.

All these suggestions -
like reducing the allocation for any club chucking stuff ( and sit them right at the back -out of range)
like stewards “stewarding” and police “policing” searching etc etc
like CCTV being used to catch the perpetrators and ban them
are all perfectly possible and doable actions. There is obviously not the will do anything.

Clubs around the world deal with having fans in an upper tier above home fans. We should t be accommodating away fans because they’ve decided to chuck shite, we should be putting a Perspex screen up which is tried and proven around the world.

This should never have even happened had the club taken fan safety as a priority. I’d take a punt on further incidents occurring before anything happens.

Unfortunately, I think they did have this issue when we were there. Clubs have heard about our problems and the visiting idiots want to prove how "ultra" they are. I'm pleased our smoke bomb idiots seem to have grown up.

If they dint get a grip of this -the daft young uns looking for a fight at the aend of the game will grow -they feel spurred on “ to protect “ those that are annoyed below where the missiles are thrown .
