The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

No idea I am not in a decision making capacity. My role in this is trying to avoid getting hit by an object thrown by an away fan.

23-24 season maybe by the time it goes through rawa, has fans moved, has police signoff etc and gives a period of time for fans in south stand to make arrangements for moves etc? Iirc fans who had to move before had to be given a price fix ot money off for a few years as a sweetener didn't they?

Or are you expecting a mid season move with one person manning the ticket office emails?

Not viable mid season and I said earlier that fans who need to relocate should be compensated in some manner.

When the stadium was planned. Bob Murray envisioned the North Stand as the “home end”
When the club moved to the SOL, and I being a Fulwell Ender bought a season ticket for the North Stand as it was to become the home end.
I had to move to the South Stand when they made the back of the North Stand BCB only.
The team still run to the North Stand when they come out as the home dressing rooms are purposely built to the left of the tunnel.
By creating the Black Cat Bar they took away the heart of the North Stand which was made up of old Fulwell Enders.

Crazy that people care so much about how it looks on the telly like.
my arguement against this, was that it costs a lot of money to go to away games. At least a £100, depending on where the game is. In order to encourage away support and to ensure our away support is treated properly and with respect, we should give away supporters a slice of respect. Unfortunately clubs kept putting away supporters in a corner, or a place where they would least give their team an advantage. I was shouted down, because it looks crap, was a waste of decent seating and why give them prime view when they dont do that to our support. they did have a point, but as I have no influence on the club, my view counts for nothing, which I fully accept.
They should put up an elasticated net so that anything thrown bounces back into the morons that threw it.
ai netting, so it goes back to the exact seat it was thrown from. I like it.

Whatever they do, whilst they are at it they could move the supporters brach flags. Seems abit daft having them essentially in the away end. Move them along to the premier concourse

Some of my best days at the SOL were at the back of the North Stand.

I never understood why the BCB seats weren't put at the front of the North Stand Upper.

First job tomorrow for the club should be outlining what they are going to put in place before the next home game to prevent this happening again. They've had more than enough warning from fans groups about it. Supporters should be allowed to attend football and feel safe in the stadium.

To sort the home atmosphere I would…

1, move family enclosure from SEC to NWC

2, Leave the singing sections in south and SWC but encourage / extend into SEC

3, move aways to NEC / spilling over in east stand until we could extend that corner

4, move BCB seats to north west upper or leave in the lower but continue concrete wall from west stand so it’ll allow standing without causing chew

5, install standing rails in the north stand to make it a proper home end next to aways

I reckon the home games would be much better with this set up, with two home end bouncing off each other
