Burnley fans on Carley Road

lets face it stone island crew look like a bunch of muppetts whoever they trying to impress, i am a man of elegance, extravagence and fashion and wouldnt be seen in that stuff

liked all the jd sports looks your lot were sporting tho , looked kinda cool i guesss

this has got @Gillythedilf stamp all over it , wonder if he’s got two log ins now ?

The worst thing is 40-65 yer olds in Stone Island. You can understand impressionable kids with no sense of taste, style or individualism, but ageing grown men is embarrassing and sheep like.
So does this mean 40-65 year olds can’t wear adidas gazelles or all the other suede variants because they’re associated with soccer hooligans or any other clobber for that matter that is 🧐

t-bone:
No no I'm quite happy, thanks for your concern though.
Why the yawn by the way? Surely your match finished yesterday.

Right , this is what I saw.
Coming out and walking past the away coaches . Walking in I had noticed they were parked on the different side of the road, meaning the Burnley fans would ( should) not be in direct confrontstion with the Sunderland fans.
Anyway, coming out, me, my son and his girlfriend.
All appeared fairly civilised , Burnley happy and singing Sunderland shrugging and generally with a fair enough attitude.
Then, started by what I can only describe as The Milky Bar kid, it all exploded.

It kicked off fairly heavy. I wont go blow for blow but the 2 groups were aged 16 to 19.
Sunderland are getting on top, but (and I kid you not) one Burnley youth getting howked runs behind the coaches yelling Dad, Dad !. From behind the coach Burnley Dad appears , and he ends up getting a clump off the Milky Bar Kid.
Next thing Burnley elder element (40 -50 year old ) gather, and to give them their due , they charge the Sunderland Youth and push them back. No blows in this incident , just a charge. I think it was more about keeping the area around the coaches safe for their fans. They charged the Sunderland Youth mob, and werent aggresive to regular fans.

The general view going up the road was ( unless they had been provoked earlier ?) It was Sunderland youth "at fault".
Mate you should make a documentary.

That is so disrespectful and uncalled for.
Really - Is there any need for that?

When you get humped 4-2 you have a right to feel enormously aggrieved, hurt and upset. Doesn’t mean that you mean it. I know I for one feel all those things. Lashing out is a perfect natural and instinctual response to loss.

I’m absolutely devastated. I don’t think many others can’t be. If you stop caring, if you you stop being human.

Getting bigger by the week. Not condoning it at all like. Game as fuck they are. Away fans have took the piss up here for far too long. As long as no innocent people get hurt...let em crack on.
As long as no innocent people get hurt.......

Therein lies the problem, and youngsters at games get petrified if they witness it. Been going to football for decades, and yes I've bellowed stuff from the terraces and joined in chants at the opposition, but it's never entered my mind to attack an opposition fan (although I could barely fight my way out of a paper bag) - yet I've chatted to hundreds plus over a beer. Idiots are idiots, the majority of fans are sound, regardless of who they support. The mob mentality thing is the problem.

My daughter works in one of the kiosks in the away end. She said there was this proper creepy fella there yesterday, harassing her and stuff, trying to get her number, asking for her bra size, and even doing the helicopter at her.

Proper wrong 'un, I think the cops are involved now.
What a complete twat.
