Burnley fans on Carley Road

At the traffic lights down from the Colliery Tavern towards Tesco there was a canny little 20 v 20, just young uns but they were properly game, they chased the Burnley lot down past the Vic club and there was a few left on the deck. Went on for a good 10 minutes and was the best entertainment of the day.

About time we looked after ourselves, and not had these away fans coming and taking the piss

Not knocking the Burnley lads , they were game. But the Sunderland youth appeared to know "exactly" what they were up to. And more importantly they seemed a tight little mob.
As I said the Milky Bar kid just seemed to come from within the Burnley youth smacking them as he moved back towards his own Sunderland lads.

At first I thought he was charging Sunderland but he just folded back into the mob.

All this was literally 6 feet in front of me, and they knew exactly who they were going for. And more importantly who they werent going for.

I couldnt tell who was who until one group was saying Haway then ya daft C£&nts !

Personally I think that sounds fair enough. If they want to fight let them, as long as they're fighting like minded people.

Just got back 10 mins ago, sorry to hear about the trouble after the match, there is just no need for it,this day and age.Small minded jumped up pricks with a few sherberts inside them! Strange that the police were not there, to lock a few of them up! Me and the lad had a great time drinking in Jamiesons, pre match with a few friends. No hassle at all, made to feel most welcome too! Unfortunately these teenagers sour it for the majority though. It,s been a long long time since I heard about any bother at the football, thought those days were long gone...Good luck for the rest of the season though!!!!
My lad met some Burnley lads he knows in Town ,had a good drink with them and walked back Into town with about 50 Burnley lads singing, no trouble at all

And that's how it should be. If the lads singing just want a good day out and a bit crack, then they shouldn't have any bother. If lads want to fight each other, let them do it. Just don't cross into each others worlds.
