The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Davison doesn’t give a fuck. At the business talk in last week he described dealing with the away fans as a ‘tactical’ move and wanted to wait until the club had decided ‘what they wanted the stadium of light experience to be’.

Total bullshit and the man needs removed from his post. A disgrace
It is total bullshit

Nothing at all to do with “stadium of light experience”

The primary - that means most important Steve - responsibility of SAFC is to ensure the health and safety of those who attend the SoL either as spectators or employees.

We now have a series of incidents in which away fans have hurled objects from the upper tier of the North Stand.

It is now clear the club cannot search away fans effectively

The club cannot prevent these objects being thrown

And so far has had little success in catching the perpetrators

Making an announcement requesting sway fans not to throw objects into the seats below is not only ineffective but it could also actually provoke further incidents

The club have been told - I believe even by its own safety officer - that a partial solution would be the installation of retractable safety nets. The cost is less than what we have previously paid certain players in a week.

The time for debate is over - get the nets installed over the World Cup break and start getting the club’s priorities right

Before a court has to do it

And who on earth was responsible for the message putting out a ‘request’ for missiles not to be thrown after missiles had been thrown?! A request!

Spot on ^

Can we add the road away from the stadium that has the away busses parked there.
Dark and dangerous yet no lights and police .
Only a matter of time before a serious incident occurs .

add to which the on pavement parking on a double yellow line up Keir Hardie Way is making people walk on the road , that’s another accident waiting to happen.

Not the club’s fault admittedly but the lack of police in that area let all the selfishness of both drivers and people being collected get away with it.

Time for action .

i sit in the east stand. i think my season ticket costs more than those in the 'noisy' bit.
your last couple of posts have given the impression you're a quite sanctimonious sort.

depends what was chucked down. someone mentioned earlier it was an e cigarette.

Sanctimonious?
I was moved from the North stand, now you want to move me from the south stand?
I’ll sit in the east stand with me flask, rug and tartan bunnet, (sun in me eyes) that ok for you!

How about moving some other fucker who bring nothing but a few coins?

Imagine moving away fans to from the latter day work Fulwell end ffs

Bob Murray built this stadium and the away supporters Were housed in the south stand this is the reason that the cells are underneath that location. That's where they should be put back too before someone is hurt, they cannot be located in the north stand as the black cats bar is there and that generates to much money, i know this will piss the people off in the south stand but they will just have a choice move or stop coming.
What the hell you on about they’re moving nowhere

Seen something I’ve not seen for a while today . The dance of the soft shite . Grown men and adolescent boys , jumping up and down on their toes whilst shouting “come on” to other soft shites who had no intention of coming anywhere near them .
Fascinating too watch , mixture of Strictly meets WWF .

you're the one who spouted off about how much money you bring to the club. also appearing to mention because you sing a few songs you're more 'worthy' than folk who sit in other parts of the ground so yes, sanctimonious is the correct term, especially with your lazy stereotyping of a whole stand.
one minute you're saying those who spend more are more 'worthy' and the next minute you're saying those who spend more should be moved?

Im no Uber fan pet, try and pidgeon me into that hole will only make you look a bigger arsewipe.

Not sure why the noisy part need moving again, surely those that bring nothing to the atmosphere are prime to be shovelled.
We’ve had our turn…

Catch the culprits ban em for life and send out a clear meesage would do the trick ?
Can you imagine being banned from ever watching your team again -if that happens to one others would stop Shirley
