The Safety of Fans in the North Stand

Said it before and will say it again, someone will die in this country before long from pelting missiles from a great height. Probably some kid who did nothing to deserve it. And there’ll be a massive legal problem for the EFL, FA and the clubs involved. Only a matter of time.

I’ll continue to ring Steve Neill and continue to get platitudes and continue to keep it recorded for when something happens and whoever needs it can use it to take down the club.

Treating fans with utter contempt this.
If anyone is seriously injured or worse the club could be sued for millions because they have failed to act when it's been an ongoing issue for years.

First paragraph I’ll respond to but your second paragraph is a very different conversation 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

The point is that if we did it it would massively embarrass the club and really call out their complete lack of action over the issue

It would also absolve them of having to do owt, they would get away with charging us money to be put in dangerous situations and just be another case of US the paying customers being forced to charitably volunteer to do their jobs for us whilst getting charged for the pleasure - after the seat installing fiasco

So, here we have it, piss the vocal ones off who make an atmosphere, or piss off this who give the club a few Bob and make fuck all noice.

….
i sit in the east stand. i think my season ticket costs more than those in the 'noisy' bit.
your last couple of posts have given the impression you're a quite sanctimonious sort.
We must be only club that doesn't search away fans.
depends what was chucked down. someone mentioned earlier it was an e cigarette.

Apparently it was a e-cigarette that was chucked and it hit a child.

I’ve been highly critical of the club in the past, but they got it right today. Stopping the game and drawing attention to the incident was the right thing to do

But they’ve failed to prevent it happening yet again. How often does it need to happen for genuinely meaningful action to be taken? How severe does someone’s injury need to be?

It’s now beyond a joke. They either need to put some kind of netting up or pay for a genuinely serious police presence up there, or withdraw away support altogether until an opportune moment to get away supporters back to the lower bowl arises.

It’s pathetic how the club still haven’t done anything to sort this.
This is a very well documented issue. God forbid anything serious happens, but if it does, I hope the fans take the owners for a serious amount of compensation for corporate neglect or whatever the legal term is.

Correct
It’s a disgrace how it keeps occurring
Are the club waiting until someone is seriously injured to act ??
They’ve had plenty of warnings & many complaints

We watched one of the stewards who was at front on the away end shout and argue with one of our fans below. This lasted a couple of minutes so their fans could have done anything and he wouldn’t have seen a thing.

Well it is you ignorant twat!

You'd be the first to complaint if your family lost and eye or worst.

Football is for everyone to enjoy safely. Daft twat
See the OP's post about vaping in the ground earlier today man!! I'm guessing he was being ironic - people went light that he'd raised the issue of vaping in the light of us hoying a 2 goal lead away...
