Much like Gomorrah the music in Top Boy is a big part of what makes it.

Last thing I saw about it was in October when they had to temporarily pause production due to Sully not being happy about his storyline.

I read it just didn't get the required viewing figures for Channel 4 to continue with it. The rapper Drake was a fan and stepped in to provide finance for it and it ended up on Netflix.

Hard to argue with this, I know it’s in their wheelhouse to some extent due to lived experience etc but the way it’s done is brilliant to watch.
Final series on Netflix 7th September.
