For some reason Shaun Tait popped into my head. He's played for Glamorgan and Essex (as well as that awful brief spell for us). One time bowling coach for Pakistan too.
didn't he help out with us last year?

Yeah I think he did. Possibly in the 50 over comp.didn't he help out with us last year?
I think we are a bit top heavy with bowling coaches already.
I agree. Killa has very skinny legs not helped by the shorts with leggings combo
On the topic of Killeen. What do people actually make of him? I’ve heard mixed reviews about him and his coaching styles & how he spends most his sessions on his phone and gadgets and focussed mainly on his ‘England boys’.that made me chuckle a lot

Everyone laughed at “The Office” but in truth it was 15 years before its time.
No! but the results in all forms should have been far better but nowhere near as bad as from mid nineties to mid noughties. Here’s a question….. Would we put the Franklin/North era down as the worst in the clubs history? Also anyone here have a clue what Franklin is up too in India now?
Is it fair to call the whole era? Lastr year the team looked fairly ok and I think everyone thought they were improving and were looking forward to this season. Here’s a question….. Yes they under achieved but it could be argued under this regime 3 players have went on to make debuts for England some counties don't achieve that in a decade. Is it fair to call the whole era? The problem seems to have been this season with a squad that was too thin especially in the bowling department. I think after the end of last season they took their eye off the ball massively and didn't plan correctly for this season. The squad could not cope and fell apart.
I won't take part in the selection debate as much of it is opinion but the rest, yea. It's all bad planning or perhaps no serious planning at all resulting in no depth and no resilience.Yes they under achieved but it could be argued under this regime 3 players have went on to make debuts for England some counties don't achieve that in a decade.
Where I would say they are culpable especially this season is poor overseas signings which with money tight the county can not ill afford and the way Bushnell was nit retained in the championship XI after a bright start.
Overall we should have been much closer to getting promoted even with the international call ups and the injuries.

Franklin wasn’t there for the one day cup till the final…. Which we then went on to lose. Says a lot about that blokeWe got to the one day cup final last year tbf. Obviously that's open to criticism given the 16.4 has obliterated any credibility it had.
Calling it 'an era' gives it too much respect.. it was undeniably a terrible appointment, let's leave it and that and just be glad its over
@Poolynorm with @The Red Telephone as assistantClub just posted the advert for the new coach on twitter, they are back to head coach and not lead high performance coach by the looks of it.
