Forget about colours...

Just realised that mine must have arrived yesterday as well. Getting done tonight and putting it in the post box at graft tomorrow.

Haway everyone lets get behind this as much as possible and try and help this little lad out!

I'm waiting until my cold shifts so I don't skew the results

This lad needs our help.

A young Newcastle fan who has been a part of the little kickers football 'academy' has been diagnosed with MDS/Pre Leukaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. My youngest has been a few times, however I've never met the young lad or his family, but I know how well we come together and put colours aside to help someone in need.

If anyone can go down and give a swab sample, please do and try our best to help this lad get the treatment he will desperately need.

I lost my old man to a rare form of cancer called myeloma. Since then I’ve been on a register for a charity called DKMS.

I once got called up to provide a more detailed sample but unfortunately I wasn’t a match. It would mean the world to me to one day be able to prevent another family from going through what my family went through and I’d beg you all to join the same register an potentially give someone else the chance my family be didn’t get.
It’s free to join and it’s easy and you’ll likely never have to do anything.

Sorry to hear about that mate. Takes guts to even mention it and good on ya for doing something to help, even with the very close personal loss.
