It's why I'd only have him open....but personally he doesnt make the best XI for me, England have him at 4 though and I hope he makes some good scores that contribute to winning the tournament

Just not for England in this format so far I'm not against him playing but it sends the wrong message out if he's getting in on name alone

Not sure it does tbh, totally see and get your argument stats wise, so difficult to argue with your rationale.
However for world cups and big moments you need people who stand up when the pressure is on, he is certainly one of them for me.
