away fans at the sol...

They will never be anywhere else other than South stand or up there. Haven't the club explained this is the only places police will agree to.

Why do we keep having to go over and over it?

Cause the executive boxes
It's an 8ft wall, how many do you think are going to climb that quickly?
But there'd be less people in the lower bowl than there is now. 90% of clubs don't even bring 2k and will have thousands of empty seats and segregation.

The police won't sign them off to be in the corner.
What reasons could the police give, given that they used to be there?

How come other clubs manage it?

Theyve never been in the corner. I'm sure the club have said that they could be where they are now or in the south stand and no other area is equipped enough to deal with it.

It took us about 2 years to get police to agree to North stand upper from memory and cost alot of money.

I wouldn’t pay thousands a year to have away fans right in front of me taunting me during the game.

It’s hardly rocket science is it.

they are loud and must give there team a lift like preston yesterday im a season ticket holder in the north stand and although its been debated on here before i wish the club would put the away fans in another part of the ground and our supporters up there it would make the atmosphere in the north stand ten times better.
I think we miss the back and forth between home and away fans. The South West Corner used to torture some away followings (we also got it back, on occasions)
Half the time I don’t think the Roker End can hear what the away end is singing, likewise the other way round.

The problem is it's only the south stand that has any sort of atmosphere, it used to be the swc before the away fans got moved. I have sat just about everywhere and you always look over to the south in envy as the atmosphere is utterly dreadful everywhere else

Get them back in the bloody South stand. Was a miles better atmosphere when they were in the lower bowl.
This isnt correct tho.
80-90% of teams, even in the prem struggled to fill the end (3kish) - SWC was always bouncing but rest of ground was as no diff to now imo
Ill be honest im in SE corner now due to kids ages, but i barely heard the preston fans despite the glowing references.
But thats just the nature of a big ground?

So it is correct then? If you couldn't hear them? If they were downstairs, you'd have heard them and it would have contributed to a better atmosphere

Perhaps if we are going to see larger away followings - but im not convinced thats the case, even if we got to the prem, that majority of teams would sell out their tickets?
