Put a flat earthier into space

It was probably a waste of time anyway. I was expecting the “you are just too brainwashed to see it” response. If defeated by knowledge and logic, resort to the Emperors New Clothes technique.
It wasn't a waste of time from my perspective as I've read it a couple of times and I admire your patience.

Furthermore, as a relative layman, I cannot fault your logic.
Has he removed his account as no more avatar?
Not as far as I can tell.
I enjoyed that!

What's your takes on it @Nukehasslefan
Good.

I think you'll enjoy his other debunking videos. If you do watch them then they'll make more sense in chronological order.

Only ten minutes in so far and it's hilarious :)
Ahhh that looks brilliant!

Look forward to cracking a beer and listening to it all when get home.

The bloke in top left is grinning away as he knows flat earth dave is going to get demolished.

Would love to hear your opinion on it. Seriously as well I'm not taking piss.

Oh, it gets better.

"Spectroscopy needs to be in a container!"
I’ll have to give it a watch. Spectroscopy is something I’ve been meaning to bring up. It means that field of science is all a lie or each star has it’s own light source/crystal. Again this crystal projector idea gets more complicated.

I'm wfh today so just had it on my phone next to laptop.
The other bloke is as batshit crazy as @Nukehasslefan
That is where the thread started and what it should have been about, but having our own resident made it more specific. How crazy are flat earth people in general?

Conspiracy theorists do fascinate me. They passionately believe what they say, but just dig deeper and deeper making things more and more elaborate. Their paranoia gets them into a state where they can't believe anything and look at everything as someone out to con them. They can't seem to apply evidence based critical thinking to anything, such as how many people report this, who reports it, what motivates them, etc. I've mentioned before this is something I was taught in history and part of the exam was 'rate these as credible sources'. But the same applies to modern day.

I think the worst is the twin towers attack denials, "no planes struck the towers". The whole series of events that day were shocking. I was working as a network engineer at the time and saw unusual activity. There was a slow down of everything and I was getting a few reports of things not working. Analysis showed we had a stable connection but as well as our traffic being up, there was a general slowdown elsewhere - everywhere, way beyond my control. I'd not seen anything like it, all of the internet grinding to a halt. I can't remember why, probably nowt else to do with connections being down, I went into our hardware lab where someone had a telly on and said "look at this". It was shortly after the second plane hit. I could see one tower on fire then a plane come in and hit the other tower. It was shocking to see a plane hit the building, but even though I'm normally someone bright and quick thinking, it seemed to take ages for my brain to tell me 'but the tower is on fire before it hits.....and it is a different tower.......so both towers have been hit by planes minutes apart.......this can't be an accident.......oh shit, that means.......". It was just too much for most to process. I had the afternoon off and was getting a train with someone. York station, everyone was stunned like zombies.

So I can forgive people who still struggle to process that day. But by the time the second plane hit we had TV cameras from all over the world trained on the WTC. This was New York, where media, cameras and vantage points are not hard to come by. Media in a major city like that can react in minutes. This plane hit live on air of 100+ TV channels, all from different feeds. On the ground people had mobile phones and tourist cameras taking their footage of what was going on. It was the most filmed plane crash and most independently verified by eye witnesses of the broadest range of people and nationalities, ever. Not one single other disaster came close. A number of nations verified the moon landings, but it was their military and space agencies. This was many more nations with reporters, members of the public, all sorts of people - live on air. It was not government controlled information leaking out.

But still there are people who are convinced it was faked. No plane hit and any footage was faked. How you can possibly pull off a fake like that and to what end is only met with "FBI, resources to do anything"? You have the usual ones of "I used to believe like you did". I have never engaged with those people, but occasionally scanned their forums and it is frightening.

When you have groups of people who can passionately believe the WTC attack was faked and will defend that belief to the bitter end, you know you will never win and there are some very disturbed people out there.

Those types honestly believe they are super knowledgeable and above everyone else..

It's very patronising like a tap on the head to say one day you won't be an idiot.

Good post. Thank you.

Let's get this video watched then!
Enjoy it with a cold beer before start dinner
That Shauns face gets me he's loving the moment :D
He is totally destroying this bloke and only 12 minutes in
This is video is like a condensed version of this thread.

All the smart posters combined into one to make that guy.

I like it how he brought it back and said wait a minute you just said something stupid I want you to address my answer that totally destroyed what you just said.

Yet you do what all flat others do when debunked and immediately go onto the next thing without addressing the previous.
Wonder who else does that?
Magnet declination:lol:
Your mainstream science

It's as if Nukey is on camera
That was very enjoyable
