This is the main issue. Scientists change theories all the time and we know governments and high authority spin all kinds of webs of disinformation and misinformation.
All the time, eh?
Name one that's been changed in the past ten years that was previously taught as "fact" but is now considered false because of new information.
we live on a spinning globe and that's why we see the sun and the moon moving in the sky
Yes.
it's us moving and the sun and moon are still.
Not exactly, but it's closer than your lemon squeezer world with a projector in the middle. In actual fact we're moving and so is the moon and so is the sun.
To cater to this and the seasons and all the rest of the stuff they have to tilt the Earth
No, the earth is tilted anyway. We didn't tilt it.
and then they have to invent a reason as to why any person would stay on this spinning ball
No, that's called gravity. It wasn't invented to explain why we don't fall off a spinning ball. It was an effect that was observed and measured. Its effect is now completely predictable in experiments that can be replicated anywhere in the world. Even your bathroom.
and go against the natural reasoning of what happens when someone is placed on something like that and it's rotated. They fall off.
They would only fall off if the centrifugal force of the spin outweighed the gravitational force holding us to the ground.
Fortunately for us, it doesn't, so we stay fixed to the floor.
Gravity was always there. It wasn't brought in to spite you and your flat earth buddies.
Nobody knows what it is but they offer what it does.
Everyone knows what it is except you.
It becomes a magical force
No, it isn't magical.
pulls everything towards the centre of the Earth to stop them from flying off into space.
Yes.
Sort of.
They all go against reasoning
Actually they go WITH all reasoning. They're completely predictable using the same laws we use to predict how long it would take for an apple to hit the ground when dropped from a tree. Laws that we've known about for hundreds of years.
In fact it's by application of these very laws that the planet Neptune was discovered. Astronomers had noticed that Uranus's orbit wasn't quite the shape they would expect, but had some perturbation at certain points. By examining this motion they realised that at certain points in the orbit, the gravitational force of another planet that hadn't yet been discovered must have been affecting it. They could even tell where in the sky this planet should be because of how that gravity was affecting Uranus's orbit. They looked in that area and discovered the planet we now call Neptune in exactly the position they expected to find it. All because of the known laws of gravity and the fact that orbits DO in fact obey those laws.
but it's accepted because gravity was made up along with a whole host of other stuff when faults were being picked out.
Not even slightly what happened. An absolute falsehood that you're spouting.
We see the sun and moon moving. We do not feel ourselves moving.
True.
But as we know we can argue that sitting in a car next to another parallel to it at traffic lights or whatever and that car slightly moves backward or forwards, it can almost seem like it's you that's moving.
Yes, that's relative motion in a straight line. If there's zero acceleration, then there's zero force being applied to the body, because as every schoolboy will tell you, force is mass times acceleration: F=ma
It's not an argument, it's you not understanding.
Which is. Earthmoving or something in the sky.
Actually, it's both.
...of your catastrophic lack of understanding of physics.
but think about it with any scientist reasoning any of this.
We have. You haven't.
the moon is a rock covered in fine dust like cement.
Yes.
Mars is red dust and rock
No.
and had an atmosphere close to a vacuum
No.
as we're told and shown by landing space hoppers
No.
with vehicles inside onto ti or flying helicopters designed to work in this vacuum
No.
or a rover with battery life so long it just shows what can be done for a few billion dollars apiece.
A nuclear battery. You probably don't want them in your walkman.
Yes.
That's a serious vitamin C deficiency.
just lifts off at bicycle speed and then accelerate all the way into space and to the moon in the '60s.
Sort of.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
But is it just that or is it a reality?
It's a reality.
It comes down to whether anyone questions the entirety of it all and marries stuff up to see if is something more or less than we are told.
Let him who hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is a man's number. The number is six hundred, threescore and six.
I genuinely believe we get mocked on a mammoth scale but that's just my thoughts.
You do, and rightly so.
But I also believe there's a little magic show going on where they equally impress the public with their tricks and sleight of hand, kind of thing.
No.
You do realise you're going down down, deeper and down with all this? (sorry, couldn't resist. it's about as invested as I can get with this utter garbage he spouts these days.)
The thread certainly is a wanderer.
Molecular stacking and the varying densities of each stacked layer.
