Proper cricket us back on Monday. Typical of the ECB to get the weekend over first.

Too early for team news. Probably have to wait till half an hour before the game to see who plays.

Be interesting to see who our Lead low performance coach selects for the Derbyshire game. If he doesn't t select our departing malcontents, and I fear that Bedingham has become one, and with England players unavailable, it'll be virtually a 2nd team barring Raine and Rushy.
Which means we'll be unable to put out a 2nd team.
We're very much resembling a poorly run club side which cries off because of players football commitments.
Whoops, and maybe Raine and Rushy will feign injuries so they can attend the Tees-Wear derby:(

Think Gibbo will play to make 3 seamers . Depends on whether Young Stan plays ,I'm half sure Durham could pull rank over him playing for the U19's 🤔 Batting order could be 5-9 ,Bushy ,Coggs,Trev and Raine,Mack. .

If they've pulled Maclinden they're surely obliged to play him.
But worried about Bedingham's omission. Surely 5 and a half weeks is sufficient rehab from a fractured finger.

In consultation with their respective teams, 14 players in contention for England Men’s U19 selection will continue to participate in domestic cricket to keep gaining valuable first-team experience.

That was on the release when the club announced the lads in the 19s squad
