Mowbray confirmed

Blackburn under Mowbray never had Roberts, Clarke, Stewart, Simms, Batth, Pritchard. We’re going up

Just had a look at his the last 10 games from last season for Blackburn. Looks like he likes to make 3 subs a game....around 55, 65 & 75 mins.

Solid, nowt flash but we'll stay up which, although forgotten by some heed-the-balls, was the plan A for this year.

I don't think it's been forgotten, I was certainly happy enough with any finish above 20th going into this season.

But with seeing the way we've started the season playing good football, picking up a couple wins and looking a match for anyone we've played it's a bit of a kick in the knackers to be right back at the plan of just making sure we stay up. Not the club's fault though really I suppose to be fair.

Not the most exciting appointment but he has experience and it was important to get someone in ASAP so the players aren't left in limbo wondering who was running the show.
