Keep seeing this, but AFAIK, Dundee United haven't sacked Ross after the Celtic game.
Southampton have conceded 9 twice under Hasenhüttl - he's still there.
We conceded 7 to Liverpool two years ago and didn't panic. Against sides like that, it can happen

If they're using that, it's a poor excuse
 
He’s been sacked for his reaction to the 9-0 defeat, basically saying the players / squad ain’t up to it
He's not exactly wrong.
It's the problem when you have multi millionaire/billionaire business owners running clubs - their ego won't allow them to be challenged, so they use the gaffer as a scapegoat
