Not strictly true. Owen Coyle takes the main blame for that. TM was brought in to save us but most of the damage was already done. He had us playing mid table form in his time here and we went down on a record points total and on goal difference. Then brought us straight back up.
Is it right that he, at least last season, liked his side to press high and aggressively? Did you do it effectively?

Apologies, I know the question has got nothing to do with the post I’m quoting.

So the reason you’re on here day after day whinging about events at SAFC and leading the charge of the Fannie’s is because social media allows you to do it?

How about growing up and a pair and not let yourself get upset by what happens totally out of your control.
Bet you drink Stella love Brexit. Crack on mate👍👍

Wasn’t happy when he was first mentioned but starting to warm to the idea. Whoever is appointed they get my support as all we really want is for Sunderland to move onwards and upwards!

I love the crack that anyone in support of this move is madly in love with Mowbray, and thinks he’s top level which no one has said, at all.

How to people live their lives with absolutes like this?

Expecting to see the usual exaggeration merchants slither away after a few good results, much as they have been for a good while now only reappearing to complain and hoy their toys out the pram.

We have to get behind him but the lack of ambition is horrendous, it makes you think whats the point.

Theres nee chance that Tony Mowbray is the best appointment we coule make.
Tbf it’s a very difficult time to recruit a manager because the season has just started and the sacking season hasn’t started yet. And out of the realistic names we could poach from other clubs there isn’t many desirable tbh. Manning for example could have been a disaster. With Mowbray we are getting a really steady manager which is exactly what we need this season.

I do donate my own money . Every year . All relative to what I can afford . I’m asking them to pay the going rate for a top championship manager
He was never appointed as a manager. Just a head coach. What percentage of your earnings and capital do you donate? You donate what you can afford. Hopefully the current management group does the same, unlike Ellis Short, who presumably had more available finance but over-reached in an effort to buy success.
