Because you cant answer as you got proved wrong

If I'm wrong, tell me how what you said is correct. Otherwise just crack on and we can all see the truth

What truth?

You came on about how TM outperformed AN in past 5 years when he actually hasnt and now your trying to change the argument.

Why don’t you donate some of your own money, like Ellis Short? Easy to spend someone else's, even when you don’t know how much he or the club can afford to lose.
I do donate my own money . Every year . All relative to what I can afford . I’m asking them to pay the going rate for a top championship manager

I don’t think we can expect someone to build for 5 years. If the club moves forward and makes the right sort of appointment, we won’t keep a head coach in the same way as we wouldn’t keep a high performing player. Add in the very particular challenge we have short term of dealing with the end of the window - and the most important aspect above all, of staying up this season - it’s fair to think of this as a very specific situation. If this was next summer - or even any summer window tbf - I’d agree that it’s short termist. Right now it’s a fairly safe bet to help us through a particular challenge.

Agreed I think given the how quickly things have unravelled and the resulting
urgency of the situation (especially given how busy we will need to be in the window over the next three days) it was important that we stabilised the situation with a safe pair of hands. I’m not expecting Mowbray to pull up any trees by any means but this season was all about consolidation first and foremost. I think this is a sensible appointment given where we are, although I will be concerned if it’s anything more than a deal until the end of this season.

Weird situation. Steady away rather than a young up and coming manager.

You can say it’s lack of ambition, or pragmatism, depending on your perspective.
It's a short-term appointment. Will probably only be to the end of the season. If he gets us promoted, we might stretch it to another season. :)

I’ve said loads of times on here, I’d be very happy with mid table ticking over this season before we make a push for the premier league. We aren’t ready for promotion yet by a long chalk.
Youre right, we're not. But we need to progress and develop. We're not doing that with him in charge. Huge impact on mood of support too which will shouldn't be ignored seen as season ticket sales makes up the bulk of our revenue.
