Tony Mowbray Rumour

Mowbray is a Championship version of Alladyce. Safe pair of hands, wise old head. If he keeps us in the division and gets the ball down and plays football then i've honestly no issues. Hes good a great record with getting young Prem players on loan while at Blackburn in Elliott, Khedra, Bellis-Harwood, van Heck.
Parkinson... he was at Blackburn for soo long becuase he was the venkys yes man

The ambition, or lack thereof, shown with this appointment is a damning indictment of the ownership and decision makers at SAFC.
Same goes for the fans that are trying to justify it.
Happy to just stay up and make up the numbers. Small time mentality and frankly pathetic. The mags get slated for being delusional but at least they set high expectations and don’t settle for below par mediocrity.
You expect us to be pushing promotion after just coming from league one?? Delusional

The exact same disillusion existed when we hired AN.

Supporters soon forget a so called bad appointment if results start going their way.

He's very experienced, had recent positions of which ate relevant to what we are trying to attain. No reason why it wont work imo

This is my problem with it. Yes, he’ll probably stabilise us but is mid table Championship the limit of our ambitions? If we have any thoughts of going beyond that then we’d have to change manager again in my opinion

Blackburn fans on twitter saying stability stability stability with him. But would probably struggle to kick on for playoffs.

I can see some appeal but he's just so uninspiring
