No sane person deliberately wants a rolling contract when you could have a 3 or 4 year deal, especially in football management.
Neil deliberately wanted that by all accounts so as soon as anything like this came up he could fuck off no questions asked.
Hate to say it like but it looks like we’ve been played a kipper.
Played like a fiddle and stitched up like a kipper 😉

Did anyone else listen to the actual words and nuances in that Speakman interview that was posted on here recently?

I could swear that he said "TRADED", rather than bought or sold. I wanted to say something at the time, but wasn't certain what he actually said and wasn't prepared to listen to the dull C**t a second time....

It was a few minutes later when it sank in, an I thought 'Oh, Shite' and then had immediate visions of Stewart, Pritchard and anyone else worth a bean waving away into the sunset. Anyone else think the three liars might cash in on a couple of assets?

(By trading, I don't think there's going to be actual swaps, more a player out for a player in).

Trade was an odd word to use, in my opinion.

Did well sad to see him go but come on he’s hardly Guardiola, onwards and upwards. We are way more attractive than we were in February. We will be fine.

I think there are better managers around but for us, he seemed a really good fit. Cant think of anyone available who i would rather have.

Suppose if you take our emotion out he was employed short term to do a job, he did it, he moved on and left us in a better state.

However, i feel that the performances on the pitch since he came, has maybe masked the performances off it.

If the club didn't make a good offer for a manager that fits the club, who was already here and had the player's respect, why the F not?

Their day to day operations and the overall running of the club still seem amateur. Unless of course there was more than we know behind the scenes.

Today feels like a kick in the balls given our start.

We move on, hopefully the club will act.

Ffs just paid £7 for Virgin wifi to check up on this, to find that hes going and already on his way Stoke.
Beggars belief he'd leave this team he's built in just 6 months with only 2 Leagu3 defeats in 23 games for bloody Stoke.
Words cannot express how gutted I am, genuinely felt we finally had a manager that "got" Sunderland since Big Sam.
