Every fucker will jump ship for extra money, football is no different to any other industry. Its not like he has had a glittering career and has a couple of million stashed away so that he can spend time "on a project" IF he will be offered a 100% pay rise, even if it means moving to the absolute shit-hole of the potteries for 1-2 years (before inevitably getting sacked)

No one is bigger than the club but that doesn’t mean a very successful manager for us leaving so early in the season, so early in our return to the championship, isn’t something that would be regretted

Sure Neil did something similar at Preston, will be a leverage to get a deal or something imo.
