2pm one still with him, so new contract then, right? RIGHT?!

The day after the Wembley win, I said the first signing should be him on a monster wage and a five year deal.
If we don’t keep the best manager we have had for years then we don’t have a chance.

Hopefully it it a contract extension. You have all seen the gushing praise of the boss by the players and this is certainly reflective on the field.
He will get us promoted again within three years. He is building something special and he can enhance his cv with us.

I’m not panicking. He is holding all of the cards and it is only very good news for us.

If he goes, we know that the owner hasn’t the capability of moving is forwards however, all the current signs in all of the areas are positive.

Let’s keeps fingers crossed.

(Ps maybe that offers have come in for Stewart? He can’t be happy with young lads getting 4 year deals. That needs sorting as well)

There is literally nothing in his comments about Bennette to suggest he's unhappy or am I missing something?
Im guessing he means the ones where he said “first av heard his name”

Which could be took either way tbh. Was nowt in it for me

I have to imagine even if he was desperate to leave us for Stoke; he'd do his press conferences.
The man is nothing but professional.

I'm willing to bet it's completely unrelated

Which if it was why would it be delayed till 2pm it would just be cancelled outright
Would not make people wait 50 mins just to push back til 2

Will do nothing for rumours of Stoke

Could be good or bad but something is happening

Also, there's not a single source anywhere that's claiming Stoke have even approached us for Neil. Not one. It's bed wetting at it's finest and there's no fanbase better at it than ours. Jesus man.
Tbh can hardly blame people the way our luck seems to run when things look up

He won't be leaving for Stoke. What will probably be happening is him sorting out a new deal with you, in light of the media speculation. Seems he has seriously savvy agents and fair play to him.

We should be sorting a new deal regardless of any speculation regarding other clubs wanting him
