Attendance Thread - Norwich City

I don't see how it's classed as losing money, should be simply classed as an overhead for running a professional football club.
BTW I'm all for online tech if they can get it right. They also need to provide decent lines of support for when things do go wrong which I think has been the main problem.

Go on your phone now and try and pick two seats next to each other.
Don't use the auto option where ot allocates you a seat, actually go on and try and pick them and get to the check out stage
Maybe you need a new phone

Work for many ??? Fuck off man I understand a small percentage of people can't or won't use online purchases but you're talking out of your arse when you say many.

I bet all these people you say can't or won't use online purchases would some how find a way if it meant money going in to their account
And reckon they can’t get online but will still post on here moaning

Im alright Jack. Id rather be told to fuck off thinking of others than being a selfish c unt.

Btw I'm not sticking up for the club as I know they can be a shit show at times but sometimes people love moaning for the sake of moaning.

If you really want a ticket for a football game a theatre show a lottery ticket etc etc you will find a way

As I say I dint have a problem personally ( season ticket ) but I get that some may still want to pay at the gate or turn up in the day and buy a ticket or ring up and buy one
Think it was chaos v qpr for some .
There should be an option to pay on the gate as such, maybe pay with your phone as handling cash can be a pain in the arse.

I think the days of cash and paying for a match ticket over the phone are gone forever, there’ll always be someone who feels that the club don’t cater for them.

Having the ticket office open as it is now is fine I believe.

Im alright but there are plenty who arent. Fancy that thinking of others.

People are offering constructive criticism.

Have you actually tried picking from the seat map?

Thought my mates were being knackers when they said they couldn't pick seats next to me but I had the same bother when I tried.
I tried on Android and Apple phones, same crack on both.

As a genuine question, how much money should we lose as a club doing this before it’s unsustainable? I know it’s about more than that but there has to be a line surely
Née idea
Would think in the grand scheme employing a couple folk ( probs on minimum wages ) to take money off people wanting to buy tickets -have queries answered -wouldn’t break the bank?
Similar to the club shop issues -when if true Hartlepool’s club shop is open more than ours -well that cannot be right Shirley ?

Like I say people who don't have the knowledge, family member or knowhow to buy things online will always find a way to get an online payment paid in to their account

I had an issue yesterday as it said it couldn’t verify my bank details, logged out and then back in and selected 2 seats for my mate with no issues, just had to zoom in so my old peepers could see what I was doing :D

Maybe. But should the experience be as easy or as hard as possible? People have an awful time attempting to sort out online payments from other agencies and get there in the end through kind family, friends or neighbours helping.

Why not aspire for that to be easier, better and more people friendly?

Every day, every week then it spirals aye. Same reason shops, bank branches close every year. Overhead costs. It’s a trend none of us will stop

Why should they? Have they family members or a support network? Pretty ignorant and patronising comments coming from you.

What about kids or older people who may not have access to technology, credit cards etc. You are alright though so fk everyone else.

Mate I've just been on again to check to see if anything had improved.
There's 2 seats near the front of L31, I've zoomed in as far as it can go (which takes an age to even zoom!), after a while I managed to get 1 of them in my basket, I'm still trying for the second.
I do have about 6 other seats from the block next to it in my basket though which I clicked no where near 🤣

Aye it was a great idea having everyone working from home as companies realised it saved a fortune during lockdown.People said it was “ the way forward and “ I love this working from home -I can roll out of bed and log on hey ho “
Let’s hope there’s not a massive spike in home heating and electric bills and people wanting to go back to the office or open up those places that closed down.
